Apis mellifera honey bees create beeswax (cera alba), a natural wax.
Eight wax-producing glands in worker bee abdomen segments form the wax into scales, which they deposit in or near the hive.
It is collected by hive workers and used to build chambers within the beehive for honey storage as well as larval and pupal protection.
The majority of beeswax is made up of fatty acid esters and other long-chain alcohols.
It is a product created from honeybee and other bees’ honeycomb. When pollen oils are mixed with honeycomb wax, the white wax turns yellow or brown. It is used to treat excessive cholesterol, pain, fungal skin infections, and other ailments like as beer.

The barrel is then gently heated and gravity is used to separate the lower density wax from the greater density honey. The wax is then manually poured into wooden molds.
